Many of our settlement services have been pioneered by the Ecumenical Migration Centre, which has been working with new arrivals since 1962.
The Brotherhood works in partnership with communities, government and businesses in order to influence public policy and program development and achieve the social inclusion of our newest arrivals.

Since 1974 we have published Migration Action, Australia’s only independent journal devoted to refugee, immigration and multicultural issues. Published three times a year, Migration Action provides in-depth critical analysis and alternative views, including articles from the perspectives of case workers and the communities affected by the issues.
