Life Members receive the reports of the Board and of the auditors, receive the annual financial statements, appoint Board Directors, and fix the remuneration of the auditors, as well as transact any other business at general meetings.

Life membership has been conferred on a number of members who have given significant service to BSL. Life Members act as ‘friends of BSL’, often providing advice and ongoing support to the organisation.
