Our Home Interactive Program for Parents and Youngsters (HIPPY) developed the HIPPY Bushfire Trauma Package to support HIPPY sites and communities impacted by the 2019/20 Australian bushfire crisis.

Our Work and Learning Centres worked hard to build relationships with employers and to support Victorian jobseekers, especially those living in public housing communities, into employment.

Saver Plus, our matched savings and financial education program developed by ANZ in partnership with the Brotherhood of St. Laurence, assists individuals and families on lower incomes to build assets and improve financial capability.

BSL conducted a review of the Tasmanian Housing Connect housing and homelessness system.

In November 2019, the Honourable Jenny Macklin delivered the BSL annual Sambell Oration.
