Rebecca Pinney Meddings
Rebecca is responsible for the Children, Youth and Inclusion Program portfolio. It includes five departments: Adult and Youth Transitions; Early Years, Children and Families; Inclusion; HIPPY (Home Interaction Program for Parents and Youngsters); and Service Development and Practice.
Rebecca joined BSL in 2012 as a Project Coordinator for the Stepping Stones Program and led the program from 2018. Rebecca developed and led numerous iterations of the Stepping Stones program until moving into the Senior Manger Financial Inclusion role in 2020. In 2023, Rebecca commenced acting as Work, Economic Security, and Social Inclusion (WESSI) Department Head which focused on maximising economic security for individuals through employment readiness, financial capability building, and social inclusion. Prior to joining BSL Rebecca ran a small business, worked in the child and family services sector and with a commitment to working towards social justice and economic empowerment believes that increased economic and social inclusion is critical for working towards wellbeing and dignity for all.
Rebecca has a Bachelor in International Development (La Trobe University).
