Go for gold! An olympic message for team Australia and team refugee
Rio's Olympic Games are under way, and for the first time in history a refugee team is competing. Here's our video of support for the Australian Olympic Team and Refugee Olympic Team, delivered by Zabiha and Clement.
Zabiha is a trainee administrator at our Work and Learning centre in Melbourne. She came to Australia in 2010 as a refugee from Afghanistan, and became an Australian citizen in 2014. Clement, who was born in Kilimanjaro in Kenya, is part of a Brotherhood employment program that helps workers find jobs. He arrived to Australia as a refugee in 2004 and became an Aussie citizen in 2006. "Go for gold!" they say.
