Living it up in Celebration of Life
Held twice a year, our Celebration of Life parties at the Collingwood Town Hall attract guests from aged care residences in Melbourne, including those from our own Sambell Lodge and Sumner House, and our Coolibah Centre which runs day activities for seniors.
At the latest one, held recently to coincide with the Victorian Seniors Festival, celebrity priest Father Bob Maguire opened the festivities while the Huffers and Puffers big band got people up on the dance floor, shaking their tail feathers with aged care staff, volunteers, local high school students and each other.
