Seymour women celebrate their graduation from our Change Makers program
On Tuesday 28 November, six women from our Change Makers program celebrated their graduation. The 6 week course is part of a wider project called SEED, a co-designed community initiative in Seymour, to advance women’s economic security and financial wellbeing.
There was not a dry eye in the room after the women took turns to share their personal stories and the positive impact the program has had on their lives. Many spoke of how being part of the course had come at a critical time in their lives and for many had been a life- saver. The Seymour Telegraph captured the celebration and spoke with a few of the women. They reported feeling more confident as individuals ready to take on the next chapter of their lives. Congratulations to all our inspiring graduates!
