Launching Women’s Wardrobe in Seymour
The program aims to help women living in Seymour and surrounding areas access free, quality clothing to wear at their current workplace or when interviewing for a new job.
The SEED project in Seymour recently launched a new initiative called ‘Women’s Wardrobe’. It aims to help women living in Seymour and surrounding areas access free, quality clothing to wear at their current workplace or when interviewing for a new job.
The Wardrobe is open every second Monday by appointment. A dedicated time slot allows staff to assist women with sizing, style and make-up tips. All participants are able to keep the clothing of their choice.
BSL’s Renee Costantini has been behind the initiative and has observed how quickly word has spread.
“The Women’s Wardrobe has been embraced by the community here in Seymour. Appointments have been booking up and those who have walked through our doors have greatly appreciated the support and advice. We’ve also received good quality donations,” said Ms Costantini.
