Margaret Kabare
Senior Research Officer
Dr Margaret Kabare joined the Work and Economic Security team as a Senior Research Officer in 2021.
She has a PhD in sociology and a Masters of Social Development and Management.
Margaret has taught community development at Murdoch University, and worked previously at Save the Children Australia. She brings a mix of evaluation, research and community development skills to the team.
Her current research examines how narratives about people and places shape women’s economic security and how the narratives might be challenged and reframed. This work is part of the broader SEED project.
