My products are unique because I use repurposed fabric which is important for environment sustainability, and secondly I am introducing our vibrant South Sudanese colours and patterns to Australia.

I arrived from South Sudan 16 years ago. I was inspired by the speakers at stepping stones program to hone the skills inside me. Hearing other women’s stories motivated me to get serious about running my own business. My Grandma has been my biggest inspiration, she is my hero. Back in South Sudan she sold handmade African brooms. A little micro business owner.

Selling African print aprons with recycled denim and traditional beaded Jewellery. All the denim used is recycled from the op shops and the African Ankara fabric is sourced from Africa which is used for the border and pockets.
