Building Pathways
Building Pathways empowers people to pursue their career goals and build their capacity to work or undertake further learning.
Building Pathways provides personal support to people who need help finding a job. This service will help anyone who walks through the door at our Thrive Hub locations in Broadmeadows and Frankston. With local support and local connections, they can help to get you into a job or training.
The program offers the following through our Thrive Hubs:
- Work readiness and skill development
- Pre-employment accredited training
- Coaching and personalised support
- Support and linkages to wrap around services
- Connections with jobs and training
Who is eligible?
Eligibility criteria:
To access the services offered at Thrive Hubs, individuals must be residents of Victoria and have full working rights in Australia.
Employer Participation
Employment and industry partnerships are vital components of our program, providing participants with exposure to various career paths and opportunities to expand their community connections. Employers can engage in several ways:
- Sharing industry expertise and insights through guest speaking or mentoring sessions
- Participating in workshops focused on interview skills training and conducting mock interviews.
- Providing avenues for work tasters, internships, traineeships, and job placements.
- Facilitating introductions and networking opportunities to enhance employment prospects within the community.
- Collaborating with local Community Investment Committees to drive positive community impact and change.
