Brotherhood celebrates Victorian Seniors Festival 2017 We’re delighted to take part in the Victorian Seniors Festival, with a range of activities across Melbourne throughout October. Brotherhood Aged Care strives to ensure older Australians enjoy security, comfort and choice in life. In our services we encourage older people to live the life they value, and support them to achieve this. Here are just a few of the activities we are involved in during the festival. Come along and find out more. Victorian Seniors Festival Celebration Day A true celebration for older Victorians, to get together with friends, family and strangers to celebrate with great music, roving performers, dancing and expo stands. Meet us at the Brotherhood Aged Care Expo Stand. When: 10.00 am - 4.00 pm, Sunday, 8 October Where: River Walk, Federation Square, Melbourne --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ‘Celebrating Community’ Frankston free afternoon tea This free event aims to bring together and celebrate the local community - offering afternoon tea and activities exploring nostalgia and technology. We’re encouraging locals to bring along their tablets for some fun activities, and find out how to stay digitally connected with family and friends around the world. When: 1.00pm – 3.00pm, Tuesday, 10 October Where: Frankston RSL, 183 Cranbourne Road, Frankston To register: Please call 1300 147 147 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Carers Access Resources Expo, Melton Brotherhood Aged Care will be at Melton Council’s CARE Expo, along with many other service providers, talking to carers about how we can support them with a variety of services and opportunities. When: 10.00am – 2.00pm, Thursday, 12 October Where: Melton Community Hall, 232 High Street, Melton --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Banksia Frankston Information Session: Benefits of Social Activities and Respite We’re inviting local seniors and carers into our fantastic Banksia Frankston centre to experience the incredible community vibe and fun offered at our day and respite hub.
