Jonathan Drew

Research Officer

Jonathan Drew joined the Youth Opportunities team of the Social Policy and Research Centre in 2023.

Jonathan is completing his PhD at Deakin University, explaining times of significant policy change in Australia. He was previously a policy officer in the Victorian public service, and has also taught in the university sector.

He is currently working on the Youth Opportunities Compass, an online data tool that brings together data that is specific to young people and place. The aim of the Compass is to help communities understand the factors affecting youth transitions and develop evidence-informed solutions to youth unemployment.
