Much obliged: disadvantaged job seekers' experiences of the mutual obligation regime
A joint research project conducted by the Brotherhood of St. Laurence, the St. Vincent de Paul Society and the Centre for Public Policy, University of Melbourne, which reveals that some Centrelink requirements actually hinder people, especially those facing multiple barriers, from finding work.
The authors argue that the federal government should provide more resources for programs targeting disadvantaged jobseekers.
