Pathways that work: lessons from the Youth Employment Project in Caroline Springs

An evaluation of the Youth Employment Project in the outer Melbourne suburb of Caroline Springs found that the model of combining individual support, hands-on training and tailored work opportunities helped to achieve positive pathways for disengaged young people.

Coordinated by the Brotherhood of St Laurence, the project involves a partnership between industry, local government and community.
