|What is currently on BSL’s Fitzroy site?|
BSL’s Fitzroy site is set on 7,200 square metres of land with three street frontages (Fitzroy, Palmer and Brunswick Streets).
The main buildings on the site function as BSL’s Head Office, as well as several community services that work to support people experiencing disadvantage. This includes the Coolibah recreation centre and independent living units. Our former residential aged care facility (Sumner House) is currently in use providing accommodation and health support for people experiencing homelessness.
Part of the site is also shared with cohealth – a not-for-profit community health organisation that strives to improve health and wellbeing for all and lead the way in reducing health inequity.
